Really, where is my life going? I can't figure it out. It's crazy madness busy all the time.
I'm sticking to my juice fast. Yesterday was easy, but today was hell.
I had some good ideas about a post sometime earlier today but I think they've disappeared due to lack of food.
I am getting 1,000 calories a day.
What was I thinking.
OK. I do feel good though. It's hard to explain. Probably because I'm a little light headed.
That's supposed to clear up in tomorrow.
By Friday I'll probably have decided never to eat again.
OK, not really.

Sunday
Are you really doing NaBloPoMo if you didn't sign up with the site? Ugh. I get points for showing up here. That's what I think. The cold/bug/whatever that everyone else in the family had has finally caught up with me.
Thanks go Alka Seltzer Cold medicine I slept in this morning. I was scheduled to be on camera at church and since I'm only doing that once a month now I didn't want to bail on them. That was pretty amusing drugged up on previously mentioned meds.
I spent the afternoon sleeping. Again, a shout out to Alka Seltzer. Really, they should pay me for this.
I start my FIVE DAY juice fast tomorrow. So I don't really want to take any more meds for my cold. We'll see how long that lasts since I can no longer breath and I'm still sitting upright.
I'm a little nervous about the juice fast. I would be more nervous but I don't feel good.
Mostly I am still riding high that my sweet Daisy came home yesterday. I still can't believe my neighbor jumped over a fence to rescue her. They are great neighbors and love love love Daisy. I think she was as heartbroken as I was.
Poor Daisy has been sleeping a lot since she came home and has stayed in the house for the most part. We don't even have a litterbox so I've let her out a bit. I'm not sure I want to make her a full-time indoor cat. I know she would be so much safer.
OK, I'm going back to my sickie quilt. My grandma made it using suiting. It is crazy ass warm and the best thing in the world.

Daisy Is Home!!!!
Daisy is home!!! Did I already say that? Let me say it again. Daisy. Is. Home.
My neighbor rescued her off the roof of a building behind our houses. He was out with his dogs and heard her meowing and when he saw her he freaking climbed over the fence (not a short fence), found a bucket or something to stand on and pulled her down. Then he had to walk a couple of blocks to get back to our street and he brought her home.
I still can't believe it.
Worlds Best Neighbor. Ever.
Daisy is curled up on my desk taking a very well-deserved nap on a very fluffy blanket. She's a little thin but for the most part seems OK.
I'm just so very glad to have my sweet girl back.

Friday
My cat Daisy still hasn't come home. I'm going to go out after lunch and poke around the neighborhood some. Wander into people's backyards and poke around in their sheds and stuff. I'm not sure why I haven't done this before.
J13 is home sick again. He spiked a fever last night. I know part of his malaise is the missing cat. He has caught a bug though. He crawled into bed last night and I read outloud to him for almost an hour. It was the most comforting thing either of us could have done.
I'm still waiting for her to come home. Hoping she will.
I want my cat back.

Let's Pretend It's November 1
Honestly I was going to storm back into blogging (ha) and do NaBloPoMo. I was. Good grief how do you people do this? And when did my life get so crazy?
Those are pretty much rhetorical questions.
I thought I would try actual writing. Put some effort into it.
Ha.
Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha.
Instead I find I am fitting in a post while helping D9 with homework and solving a problem at work. Next up laundry, dishes, kind of clean the kitchen and start dinner.
J13 is home sick today. Started out with a simple sore throat last night but is now running a fever. Boo.
My cat Daisy has been missing since yesterday morning. We let her out at 7:00 as we do each morning. Haven't seen her since.
This hit me pretty hard this afternoon. She is always around the house and within calling distance. She always comes in around 9:00 p.m. I'm pretty sure she's gone for good, but I can't help looking for her constantly. I hope she comes home.
I'm reading a couple of good books right now. I'm reading A Clash of Kings -- the second book in A Song of Fire and Ice series. The first book being A Game of Thrones which the HBO show is based on. Which I haven't seen. The books are GOOD and addicting. And long.
I'm listening to The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. It's so good I want to read it and just put it on hold at the library. I love listening to books when I'm walking for exercise (and I'm going to really commit to that starting tomorrow. I really am), cleaning the house or driving around. The Night Circus is one of the best books I've read in years.
I'm doing a five day juice fast next week. That should make for interesting blogging. I'm hungry already.
Seriously though I think it will be good for me and it's being supervised by a physician.
